Albert E. Slocum (Al)

Rapid City, SD

1933-34, 1794, Rockerville, F-10,

Albert Al E. Slocum, 95, of Rapid City, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Rapid City Regional Hospital. Survivors include one sister, Mildred Baldwin of Oregon; two sister's-in-law Irma Slocum of Rapid City and Betty Kinney of Montana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Esther.

Al was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Force and a veteran of the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 11 am at Kirk Funeral Home, 1051 E. Minnesota Street, Rapid City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Monday. Interment will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis at 2:30 pm with military honors by the Sturgis Honor Guard.
