Brown

Daniel V. Brown

Eden, SD

1940-41, 793, Sheridan, F-24,

In December of 2020 Daniel Brown is living in Sisseton, SD. He married Lila Jeanette Jordahl on February 7, 1945 and they have four children. Lila passed away October 18, 2017.

According to Mr. Brown's granddaughter, Nicole Joy, when her grandpa applied for the CCC, he almost didn't pass the physical. He was practically starving, and under the weight requirement. The doctor looked him up and down and said, "All you need is a good meal." He forged a passing weight and changed Daniel Brown's life.

He went on to be a photographer in WWII.
