Archie M. Murphy

A Mystic boy, Archie Murphy, was killed in line of duty, fighting the fierce forest fire at Moskee, Wyo., Aug. 8, 1936. A burning snag pinned the 19-year old Sioux Falls lad to the ground. He was rushed to a hospital where he died 12 hours later. He was the only CCC boy who has been killed.cr badly injured fighting forest fires in the Black Hills.
