Rodney Chapman was born in Bloomfield Nebraska October 23, 1910. At the time of his enrollment into the Civilian Conservation Corps he listed his address as Martin, South Dakota. A monthly allotment of $25 was to go to his father, Harry Chapman, Martin, S. Dak.

Rodney Chapman was Honorably discharged July 21, 1935 from Camp S-207, Farm Island near Pierre, South Dakota.
