Arnold E. Anderson

Sioux Falls, SD

1940, 762, Custer, F-12,

Arnold E. Anderson, 65, 2409 E. Sioux St., died Wednesday in Sioux Valley Hospital.

Mr. Anderson was born Oct. 13, 1920, in Madison. As a young boy, he moved with his family to Trent before coming to Sioux Falls. He served in C.C. Camps in the Black Hills area. After his marriage to Mathilda Beuckens April 16, 1940, in Luverne, MN the couple made their home in Sioux Falls, SD.

He was employed with John Morrell and Co. before moving to Oregon in 1942. In 1947, he returned to Sioux Falls and Morrell's before retiring in 1976.

Mr. Anderson was a member of Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; three sons: Richard, Zapata, Texas; Steve and Michael, both of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Pekoske, Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers: Roger, Eugene, Ore.; Russell, Springfield, Ore.; and Lionel, Sisters, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. Tom (Rozetta) Verdon, Bethel Island, Calif.

Burial in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.
