Cleo Oscar (Freeman) Ames (Pappy)

Cleo Oscar Ames daughter donated hundreds of photos, a District Annual, albums, a notebook and several CCC certificates that indicate that Mr. Ames was in the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1934 – 1939. He severed at several camps and participated in several educational programs.

Reviewing his notebook reveals that Oscar Ames made many friends and that he was referred to as "Pappy" by some.
