Charley Milo Gilliland was born November 20, 1913, in Roberts County, SD and died February 23, 1993, in Watertown, SD.

Milo served in the Civilian Conservation Corps 1935-37 and later worked in the Home Stake Mine in Lead, SD. Mr. Gilliland married Evelyn Irene Cosby on April 29, 1939, in Lusk, Wyoming and live for some time in Custer, SD. During WWII they lived in Butte, MT.

Milo Gilliland worked in the copper mining industry and later worked in construction. Milo and Evelyn moved to Watertown, SD in 1945.
