Lloyd Earl Burroughs was born February 22, 1913 in Frederick, SD. He died March 7, 1983.

Funeral services for Lloyd E. Burroughs, 70, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Rapid City with Dr. Warren Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

He grew up in Frederick and attended Ellendale Normal College at Ellendale, N.D.

He served in Civilian Conservation.
