Otto E. Obermeyer

Mr. Obermeyer was born in McPherson County, South Dakota and was 21 years old when he enrolled in the Civilian Conservation Corps. Duties included truck driver and soil conditioning. His presence was urgently needed at home and was discharged in 1935. Otto Obermeyer was never A. W. O. L. and his character is registered as excellent.

"Otto Obermeyer was in the CCC and helped to build the lookout tower at the top of Harney Peak. He was always proud of that".
