See See See

See displays of items and information about the Civilian Conservation Corps.

See a printed copy of Lyle Derscheid's book, The Civilian Conservation Corps in South Dakota, and you can page through it as you sit at the table. It contains some very interesting information about the camps and the men and the work that was done.

See the books and items that are sold to help support the CCC Museum of South Dakota. Check out the locally handcrafted items that make great souvenirs and conversation starters.

If you've never visited the museum located in the Hill City Visitor Information Center, then you must plan to stop. If you have visited then you should really go again and see the displays, including the restored CCC truck. Check out the continually updated enrollee roster.
