Carving a Tribute

Relatives visiting the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum of South Dakota recognized a carving by CCC man William Johnnie Roberts. They forwarded other photos from Mr. Roberts' collectables.

Mr. Roberts' grandson, Greg Eastman and family returned in September of 2020. They brought a tribute piece that Greg had made and asked if it could be displayed. Greg said that he must have gotten his 'knack' for woodworking from his grandfather.
