1935, 1794, Summit, F-18,
1936, 791, Lightning Creek, F-14, Hospital Orderly
1937-38, 791, Lightning Creek, F-14, Orderly, Ass't Leader, Editor

Mack Crawford was born on January 25, 1915 at Pueblo, Wis. In 1915 he moved with his parents to Edgemont, South Dakota and has resided there since. Mack received his high school education in the Edgemont public schools. He majored in journalism and printing. Enrolling in the CCC on April 13, 1934 he was sent to Camp Rockerville. In May 1935 the camp at Rockerville was abandoned and he moved with the company to Camp Summit. On October 18, 1935 Camp Summit was abandoned and the company was moved to Camp Lightning Creek where it was consolidated with Company 791.

On September 26, 1936 Mack was appointed Hospital Orderly and he has held this same position ever since. In Camps Rockerville and Summit he worked on thinning and rock masonry projects. For three months previous to being appointed to his present position he served as camp mechanic in this camp.

Mack has been in the CCC for 44 months. He has never been AWOL or had any property shortages and he has established a splendid record. Mack has done an excellent job as Hospital Orderly and deserves much commendation. He is reliable and dependable and can always be expected to do more than his share.

Mack was elected to the position of editor of "Lightning Flashes" in October. The October issue put out under his supervision received a four-star rating, the highest possible in Happy Days.

Our hats are off to Mack Crawford. He has an enviable record and we are proud to have him as a member of Company: 791.
