Clifford V. Bucher

Clifford V. Bucher, 78, Garretson, SD died Friday December 11, 1987, in Palisade Manor.

He was born February 14, 1909, in Sverdrup Township, Minnehaha County. He attended rural school near Garretson and later completed a real estate course.

He married Eva Scott Nov. 30, 1939, in Garretson. The couple farmed in the Garretson area until retiring in 1974. He was a member St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church and Edison Baseball Club. He raised purebred hogs and sold Trojan seed corn.

Survivors include his wife; four sons: Dale, Canistota: Lyle, New Underwood; Clint, Minneapolis: and Steven, Plankinton: a daughter: LaVonne Bendt, Sioux Falls: six grandchildren: and three sisters: Elinor Dubbelde, Garretson; Estella Heineman, Sioux Falls; and Eileen Welbig, Flandreau.
