Este Ripples March 1942

THE NEW ORDER - While mankind has been looking toward a new day when the world will be at peace, and contentment will reign supreme, strange ships have entered harbors and bombs dealing destruction have fallen in many lands.

Men whose hearts are nothing more than receptacles for rotten principles have spoken freely of the New Order they propose to give the world. But one readily sees their proposed new order is to abolish freedom, liberty and equality from the face of the earth.

We remember April 7, 1917, when strong-hearted men of America declared that the new order proposed in Europe would come to naught. Valiant men went to battle that Democracy might survive. To-day we witness another New Order proposal, but we are confident that it too will find itself outmoded and relegated to the scrap heap.
