Este Ripples October 1941

If you draw lines diagonally across a map of North America, you will find that they cross in South Dakota. And in the month of October, we found our state in the center of public interest. Thru the medium of Life Magazine, millions of readers read an article and gazed at striking photos in twelve pages of the highlights of our inland empire.

This camp newspaper has been reproduced, printed, and will be available to read at the Civilian Conservation Corps Museum of South Dakota along with others.

NOTE: The Life Magazine mentioned in this camp newspaper was donated to the Civilian Conservation Corp Museum of South Dakota and the pages that showcase South Dakota have been reproduced and printed for viewing at the museum.
