Morris "Mo" Gollub was born October 6, 1910 in St. Louis, Missouri. At the time of his enrollment into the Civilian Conservation Corps his address was listed as University City, Mo. His $25 monthly allotment was to go to his father, Mr. J.N. Gollub, University City, Missouri.

Mo Gollub was a comic book artist and animator. In 1937 he became an animator for the Disney Studios. In the 1950's he worked for Pantomime Pictures, Sanrio and Hanna Barbera, where he was a lay-out artist.
